"Surveillance-Based Resource Allocation Strategies for Mitigation of SARS-CoV-2 Spread"Lior Rennert, PhDAssistant Professor and BiostatisticianDepartment of Public Health SciencesCollege of Behavioral Social and Health SciencesClemson University Dr. Rennert is an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics in the Department of Public Health Sciences. He is a founding member of Clemson University's Public Health Strategy Team and currently leading efforts to direct Clemson's COVID-19 testing strategies during the 2020-2021 academic year. This work has involved the development of dynamic SARS-CoV-2 transmission models to inform optimal testing strategies and the implementation of public health strategies to mitigate SARS-CoV-2 spread. Dr. Rennert engages in collaborative health research across the university and Prisma Health, the largest non-profit health care provider in South Carolina. His work involves the development and implementation of statistical techniques for public health and medical studies and evaluation of public health policies.
