The 30th Anniversary of the CCEB

Celebrating 30 years

On May 19, 2023, the CCEB celebrated 30 years. Attendees spent time together and listening to talks from previous and current members and we announced the formation of two new CCEB research programs. The theme of the day was “Improving Patient Outcomes through Research.” The CCEB is a connector of important clinical problems with research methods, building bridges to improve outcomes. Center members conduct a wide range of studies that range from basic epidemiology studies to understand risk, prognosis, prevention, and management, patient-oriented observational studies and pragmatic trials addressing questions of importance to patients and clinicians, and novel biostatistical approaches to the design of trials, analysis of observational studies and use health care data. The center provides the opportunity for our members to build upon each other’s work and ideas to solve important clinical problems.
