Dr. Barnhart's research focuses on the novel preparation of biomarkers for disease processes, for use as predictors or diagnostic aids, as well as on efficacy and safety outcomes after clinical interventions. In total Dr. Barnhart has been involved in more that 60 clinical trials, translational research and outcomes studies in women's health.
