The Masters of Science in biostatistics trains students in the basic theory and the application of statistical methods to problems in the biomedical sciences. The courses are offered in a highly distinctive context. Because the Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Informatics brings together three major disciplines of population science, it positions students to participate in team science as collaborators, and as developers of novel methods for solving complex problems.
The biostatistics programs are administered by a graduate group, which affords students exceptional cross-disciplinary opportunities. Read program specifics on the site of the Graduate Group in Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
