Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Epidemiology

Dr. Weiss's research focuses on areas such as pharmacoepidemiology and outcomes in pediatric juvenile idiopathic arthritis and juvenile spondyloarthritis. Her research goals are to improve the diagnosis of pediatric spondyloarthritis (which includes both enthesitis-related arthritis and psoriatic arthritis), to better define the disease activity of children with spondyloarthritis, and to develop treatment strategies that improve both clinical and patient-reported outcomes for children with spondyloarthritis.
