New CCEB Deputy Director

Dr. Neuman, a CCEB Senior Scholar, has held leadership positions at the Leonard Davis Institute, University of Pennsylvania Health System, PSOM Combined
 Degree & Physician Scholar Programs Office, Penn Center for Perioperative Outcomes Research and Transformation; as well as the Department of Anesthesiology, where he currently serves as Vice Chair for Clinical and Translational Research. Dr. Neuman brings to this Deputy Director position his vast clinical experience and expertise in large-scale pragmatic trials, implementation projects, and secondary database analyses using clinical and administrative data sources.

He will partner alongside fellow Deputy Director Sharon Xiangwen Xie, PhD and Center Director Alexis Ogdie, MD, MSCE, in striving to advance the Center’s mission to accelerate high-impact clinical, translational, and population health research through methodological innovation, collaborative science, and training of the next generation of investigators.
