Abstract: Statistical prediction models should be used more often to guide medical decision making. They tend to offer the most accurate predictions presently available. However, several barriers to statistical prediction model implementation exist. These barriers will be discussed, including a free website for statistical prediction model deployment: http://makercalc.ccf.org
